The Lagos State Government has provided Mobile Intensive Care Unit and transport ambulances for the Lagos State Ambulance Service.
This was part of the palan of the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to revive the emergency and pre-hospital care services in the state.
This development was disclosed by the Lagos State Ministry of Health in a terse statement.
“His administration has also completed the construction of five LASAMBUS operational bases at General Hospital Lagos, General Hospital Ikorodu, Lagos University Hospital, General Hospital Badagry and the Eti-Osa Maternal and Child Centre.
“Continous training and capacity building for LASAMBUS staff and first responders have also been given the priority it deserves. Evidently, emergency response time has greatly reduced,” the statement added.
