The Corporate Affairs Commission CAC, in a bid to Crackdown on Endsars Promoters EIE aka Enough, Is Enough, erroneously Deregistered Enough Is Enough Business.

The Corporate Affairs Commission in a statement issued on its official Twitter page announced the deregistration of Enough Is Enough Business…

The statement read,

Based on the provisions of Section 579 (2) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act, (CAMA), the Corporate Affairs Commission has cancelled the registration of the Business name “Enough is Enough BN 2210728” with immediate effect.

The above section provides amongst others that the Commission has the power to cancel the registration of a Business Name where the name is deceptive or objectionable.

Consequently, the Commission has removed it from its database and advised the proprietors to surrender the certificate earlier issued to them.

Reacting to the deregistration, EIE Aka Enough Is Enough wrote,

This medium gathered from a reliable source within the Corporate Affairs Commission, that the deregistration of Enough Is Enough Business was done in error, that the Commission felt Enough Is Enough Business is the one promoting Endersars.

From the documents at our disposal, the two companies were registered in the same years with the same name.

The question many Nigerians seeks an answer for is ;

WHY WILL CAC REGISTRATION TWO COMPANIES WITH THE SAME NAME, THE SAME YEAR.
