Federal government, Monday, said that youth empowerment has become old-fashioned, submitting that the best way to solve the problem of unemployment was investing in the youths. Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Sunday Dare stated this when he appeared before the House of Representatives Committee on Youth and Sports to defend the 2022 budget estimates of the ministry.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra has dispelled the reports that it called for the cancellation of the November 6 governorship election in the state. Chief Basil Ejidike, the state chairman of the party made the clarification at a news conference held at the party’s state secretariat on Monday in Awka.
